Flower Girl

Next month Laura is going to be a flower girl in her Aunt Emily's wedding. She is pretty excited about this job. In true Schulz tradition, we had to go to the library today and check out "wedding books" for research purposes. 

Get Her, Mom

I took the kids on a run in the jogging stroller today. It was hot, I was low on energy, and I think the kids have gained weight. I was almost home and panting like a dog when Laura spotted a teenage girl with a long blonde pony tail out for a run. Laura's competitive spirit ignited and she said, "Get her, Mom. You can do it. I know you can do it. I want you to be the winner."
I just couldn't let her down, I gave it my all and passed that blonde Barbie doll before hitting our drive way...

Laura and I gave high fives as we went inside.
